Not only are you minutes from Crantock Beach but you can also take a coastal path from the park to Gannel Estuary u2013 sao really youu2019re perfectly situated with indulging in great cliff top walk every single day.
u2026 whether youu2019re twitchers, wildlife watcher or serious walkers you can really indulge your passions here u2026 but this coast isnu2019t just for the avid ramblers u2026 a short stroll down this way takes you to the tranquil Porth Joke Beach u2026 u2026 once youu2019re here you can break the bucket and spade out u2026 or go searching for sea creatures in the rock pool u2026 or perhaps a gentle swim is the refreshing, clean water u2026 This is Crantock village, just a short walk from the holiday park, and a beautiful place to have an amble around The cottages and tiny roads are typical of a small Cornish village, and there are plenty of photo opportunities here. And the pubs sell traditional Cornish ales, so itu2019s the perfect place to stop after a long walk.
But if youu2019re looking for something a bit more lively, my next stop in just the ticket. This is Newquay, the surf capital of Britain. Whilst it does offer some of the greatest white water action in the UK, there are plenty of other reasons to spend time hereu2026 u2026 The town itself is a traditional seaside resort with gift shops, chippies and plenty of places to pick up a stick of rocku2026 This is the world famous Fistral Beach, one of the best surf spots in the UK, in fact one of the best in Europe. They even hold the European surf championships here. And this is Morthenporth beach, just up the road from Newquay but itu2019s a bit of a surferu2019s secret, so donu2019t let anyone know I told you.. “
